"This is the perfect spot if you’re craving proper Hong Kong comfort food! It’s always busy and you’ll probably wait a little, but trust us, it’s 100% worth it. Think nostalgic cha chaan teng vibes, big portions, fast service and all the classics done right. Our picks: rice noodle roll w/ pork ribs beef borscht soup w/ udon chicken feet dim sum pineapple bun w/ butter HK-style milk tea Everything hits that comforting, not-too-sweet, super satisfying Hong Kong flavour profile — especially the milk tea and that buttery pineapple bun."

"G'day Bernie here. Lucky Cafe went full Hong Kong mode . Busy as, young couple trying to steal my seat. If I want congee brekky at 9 with an ice-cold HK lemon tea for $19.99, done. Set deals? Set A or Set B $19.99 Arvo special? Cury beef vermicelli $18.99 with cold drink you beauty Canto pop pumping, bowls flying out, vibes immaculate. This is HK café energy. Big W gone. Dick Smith gone. I blinked and didn’t even recognise the place. What happened? Times change and this place definitely moved on. Bumped into an old mate Aaron Gocs at Woolies Calamvale. Mateeee… memories unlocked Also Gocsy, if you’re somehow reading this, which I doubt, anyway bloody good to see you again. It’s been over 20 years, mate. Last time we crossed paths. Life’s wild mate."

"A Hong Kong cha chaan teng 茶餐廳! We had the thick Hong Kong style French toast with peanut butter sandwiched between two pieces of bread, wonton noodle, rice noodle roll with mixed sauce (took two rice noodle rolls out then remembered I hadn't taken a photo) and 雪糕紅豆冰 (icecream, red bean with shaved ice). Nice decor. Very busy. Brought back memories! The restaurant had very loud music on today. Sounds like Chinese New Year songs. You wouldn't be able to hear what the person opposite you was saying but no one seemed to mind. Everybody was enjoying the food! Please note breakfast menu ends at 11:30 am when their lunch menu starts!"
